Stella B Salon LLC uses cookies to keep the cart and checkout session together and remember an explicit cookie preference. No analytics, advertising, social tracking or marketing vendors are installed. The cookie controls do not load optional scripts when you press Accept. The website does not create a customer account or use a public order reference as permission to retrieve someone else’s information.
The essential session cookie
The cookie named stella_session lasts up to 2 days and is marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. On HTTPS it is also Secure. Its opaque identifier connects your browser with server-side cart quantities, selected SKUs, checkout draft, anti-forgery token and session-bound confirmation. It does not contain your address or order lines in readable browser-cookie text. This essential cookie is set for shopping operation before an optional-cookie decision, and is not an advertising identifier.
The preference cookie
The cookie named stella_consent lasts 180 days from an explicit decision. It records accepted, rejected, or saved-essential-only. Accept records that you pressed Accept; Reject and Save keep optional categories off. All three states leave only essential operation active because no optional services exist. The preference is specific to this shop. Simply visiting, scrolling, following a link, opening settings or pressing Back does not record consent.
Your choices and the settings panel
The initial notice offers Accept, Reject and Manage settings. Manage opens an explanation of the essential cookies and the absence of optional categories. Save records the essential-only setting; Back leaves the previous decision unchanged. Reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time to inspect or change the choice. Your selection persists when you reload or move between pages until the cookie expires or you delete it. No marketing permission is bundled into the checkout terms acknowledgment.
Browser controls and deletion
Your browser can show or delete cookies for stellabsalonllc.com, or block cookies entirely. Clearing stella_consent causes the undecided notice to appear again. Clearing stella_session can remove access to the current cart, unsent draft and confirmation in that browser; keep your order reference separately. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout or anti-forgery validation. Deleting a browser cookie does not itself delete a previously submitted order record; contact us for a data request.
Server records are separate
Saved order requests and operational logs are not cookies. The Privacy Policy explains the fields, purposes, access procedure and retention limits: 90 days for unaccepted requests, 365 days for operational accepted-order records and 30 days for server error logs, subject to restricted legal obligations and active disputes. We do not claim automatic erasure simply because your browser session ends. No payment credentials should be included in order notes.
